1. Oxytocin:

It secretes from the fetus and mother’s posterior pituitary. It stimulates the uterus to contract. It also causes powerful contractions of myometrium during parturition.

2. Prostaglandin:

It stimulates more contractions of the uterus.

3. Relaxin:

It causes the aidening of the pelvis by relaxing the pubic symphysis of the pelvic girdles.

4. Oestrogen:

This hormone secretes from the ovaries and induces oxytocin receptors in the uterus.
